How do I self-install Windstream internet?

It doesn't take hours to install your Windstream Internet. It won't take you any time or leave you with your thumb and veal muscles. Windstream believes it will take 30 minutes to an hour to install itself.

Activating your Windstream service:

When all lights turn a strong green, you can activate your Windstream account. You should finish the following final measures for 15 minute

Enter into an Internet Browser: 

• The window will redirect you automatically to the Windstream Internet Service Setup page when you open your browser

Accept the terms and conditions:

• This window will ask you to accept the terms and conditions of Windstream. You will then have to check mark them in order to continue the installation process

Enter details: 

• It will ask for your account data on the next page. Subsequently, this data must reach you by mail or another communication method

Complete setting up your Windstream account: 

• Enter the SSID and key for your wireless data. You can find this data in your service contract or at the bottom of the Windstream modem

Complete your steps:

• Once the first four steps have been completed, complete the configuration with a click of the button. The information is saved and the internet is now accessible

Connect your devices: 

• Unless modified during the setup stage, use the default SSID and key with the modem. Close the browser, reopen it and connect to one of your favorite Internet sites for testing your job

Update your name for the wireless network:

• Scroll down to the ' Wireless – Guest / Virtual Access Points ' button with the network settings panel open. Select your default SSID name by selecting "Enabled" and enter a fresh name instead of the standard name. To finalize the fresh settings, click "Apply / Save" and similarly, change the SSID key also if required.
